Understanding Epilepsy Workshop for Registered Nurses

The Understanding Epilepsy Workshop for Registered Nurses is a two hour workshop which provides Registered Nurses with the skills, knowledge and tools to support a person living with epilepsy.
This workshop is endorsed by the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) and the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) as continuing professional development that meets professional standards and requirements for nurse education. The workshop is delivered by a Registered Nurse.

Please note that this workshop does not include training in the administration of emergency medication. Where your nurses practice takes you into a role where you are supporting an individual living with epilepsy that has been prescribed emergency medication you will also require training in the administration of emergency medication.
