The National Epilepsy Support Service (NESS) provides confidential telephone support services across Australia and is open to people living with epilepsy, their families and friends, health professionals, service providers and the general community.
NESS is available Australia-wide from 9.00am – 7.00pm (Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays). A message bank is available for after-hour calls and one of our epilepsy support staff will be in contact.
What support does the NESS provide?
- Understanding and support around epilepsy.
- Practical information and advice.
- Information and information sheets.
- Information and referral to the full range of Epilepsy Foundation services.
The NESS is not a crisis line. In an emergency please call “000” for assistance.
