The role

This is an exciting role for an experienced digital marketer who is keen to use both strategic and creative marketing skills to support the work of the Epilepsy Foundation.  The right person will be creative, outcome-driven and keen to work in a fast-paced yet collaborative and friendly environment within a small team.  The successful candidate will work in the Marketing Department, while working closely with the Fundraising Department, and supporting other departments’ marketing needs, as required.

More specifically, the role is responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering the organisation’s digital communications This includes activities across the full spectrum of the marketing mix including but not limited to Epilepsy Foundation (EF) websites and digital media (e.g. YouTube, fundraising platforms etc.), and, from time to time, traditional media
  • Creating high quality digital content including video, photography and graphics for the EF’s public channels
  • Contributing to and implementing marketing communications plans for the EF
  • Developing copy and multimedia packages that are on-brand, contain accurate messaging and are audience-focused and engaging
  • Working closely with the Social Media Lead to ensure consistency in strategy, tactics, messaging and content etc. between EF’s social media platforms and other digital assets
  • Supporting the work of the Fundraising Department by way of development and support of fundraising platforms, creation of video and photography content etc., as well as providing high quality marketing support to other departments, as required.
  • Maintaining website content both independently and, when necessary, in conjunction with the external web developer, and regularly monitoring and reporting on analytics across EF websites, digital platforms and social media advertising.
