Give your pre-loved goods a second life—and help people living with epilepsy—by donating to one of our Melbourne op shops.
Items we accept
Our preferred donations include:
- Clothes
- Toys
- Furniture
- Homewares
- Electrical items.
Items we do not accept
To help reduce our costs we are not able to accept any items that are broken, damaged, torn, ripped, stained or faulty. Items donated in this condition must be disposed of and this adds a significant cost to the running of our op shops.
Please note that we do not accept mattresses.
In some instances, we are unable to accept white goods or electrical items due to Government regulations.
To check whether your items are suitable for donation, please telephone Darren on 0425 799 415 or email us.
How to arrange a pick-up
Please allow five to seven days for pick-up. Unfortunately due to limited resources we do not service all areas.
To organise pick-ups of quality furniture, please complete the form below. A member of our team will be in contact with you within two working days. If there are several items of saleable quality, we will organise a pick-up in Melbourne metro areas.
Please note that collections are usually done between 10am and 4pm on a mutually agreed day. Any special instructions are to be communicated before the collection day e.g. item will be left under carport.
The safety of our team is very important to us. On arrival at the collection site, our driver will assess if the item is too heavy to lift, or if moving the item presents an unacceptable risk to the health or safety of our staff. We ask that if you have a dog at the collection site, it is suitably restrained prior to the agreed collection time.
Thank you for your donation to help people living with epilepsy.
Please note we are currently experiencing issues with our web forms. If you are not able to submit using the form below, please email us with the below details at dryan@epilepsyfoundation.org.au or call 0425 799 415.
